Spine and Peripheral Nerve Surgery at Stanford - Clinical Instructorship

Program Overview

Clinical opportunities include complex adult reconstructive spinal surgery, minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery, and Cyberknife radiosurgery. Operative experience will utilize techniques including all aspects of spinal surgery, including spinal tumor resection, instrumented reconstructions, surgical management of spinal trauma, and degenerative spinal disorders.  The fellow will actively participate in all aspects of patient care, including pre- and post-operative clinics, inpatient hospital care, and operative surgical cases.  The fellow will be involved in clinical research and will be expected to complete abstracts, publish manuscripts, and to present at national neurosurgery meetings. Teaching endeavors will be accomplished throughout the fellowship.
